The Garden Market
The Garden Market is a weekly farmers market that takes place rain or shine every Wednesday, January 8--April 16, 2014. (No market on February 12 and 19 due to the Boat Show at the Convention Center). Vendors from The Market Company will be selling freshly made bread from Zak the Baker, local produce and cheeses, greens from the Little Haiti Community Garden honey, soaps and more. Stop by during your lunch break or after work and let us help you figure out what to cook for dinner. The Garden Market is part of the Garden's efforts to provide green living solutions for the community. Supporting local farmers and crafters keeps more money and jobs in the Miami area, and fresher, more nutritious food in our bellies! Also every Wednesday, balance your mind and body with rejuvenating hatha yoga at 12:30 p.m. (read below for details).

Green Book Club
The Green Book Club meets the second Wednesday of the month to discuss the previous month’s read. Come join the group for a conversation about Feeding the Hungry Ghost: Life, Faith, and What to Eat for Dinner by Ellen Kanner. Kanner is an award-winning food writer and fourth generation Floridian as well as a guest speaker at the Garden’s 2013 Annual Meeting. She offers an irreverent approach to bringing reverence into daily living and eating. Stories and recipies mix together in a meaningful book that will challenge you to decide: keep reading or start cooking? This book is available for sale at the Garden! The Green Book Club always welcomes new members and encourages meeting participation even if you have not read the whole book.
