Light the Night
Many of us only get time to sit and enjoy our gardens and patios in the evening after work. This free presentation by Terra-Nova Sadowski will offer ways you can plant a night garden no matter where you live. Night gardens are functional landscapes that maximize all sensory benefits, especially in the dark. Methodology, design ideas, and principles of night gardening will be shared.  Terra-Nova has a BA in Environmental Studies from Alaska Pacific University and is the Programs Director at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Garden Yoga
Did you know that Buddha became enlightened sitting under a ficus tree? Meditate under our Ficus benjamina and discover your own purpose for being. Yoga classes in the Garden encompass a blend of strengthening, stretching and relaxation outdoors on the terrace. Instructor Terra-Nova (RYT) brings a different theme to class each week that prepares you to pursue a higher state of consciousness. Both the Monday and the Wednesday classes are accessible to all skill levels, however the Wednesday class tends to be more rejuvenating and slow paced, while the Monday class is energizing and faster paced. Mats are available on a first-come first serve basis. All donations given at this class support the Garden. Suggested donation of $5 for Garden members, $10 non-members.
